Why did I write this?

God put this burden on me about 8 years ago. It's been a journey where I've talked with people in the grocery story or at the altar area after an event we've ministered at and in so many cases, people have a skewed perception of God. So many people believe there are many ways to God, many "truth"s if you will. I've heard it 100x in the last few years on television and in person "Well, that's my truth" This book aims to answer the question "Is truth relative or absolute?" in the first chapter then encourages believers in chapters 2 through 8 to pursue the life of a "Disciple" as opposed to the life of a "Believer." When we do, we'll desire to truly walk and live as Jesus lived - in truth AND love - never feeling the need to choose "a side." We live in a culture where Christians are ranting on fb "the truth" they feel that must be said yet they're unwilling to leave the comfort of their computer screen and actually have dinner with someone that needs Christ. Is this what Jesus wanted? Is this how He would live in the 21st Century?

There are 7 videos that correspond with each chapter of the book as well as 1 for an introduction. This is for churches to use in their Small Group / Discipleship environments. It’s perfect for an 8 week Bible Study / Small Group study. Those are available on YouTube here. The PDF Small Group Discussion Guide is available now in case you'd like one of your Bible Study groups to go through the book together. The SGD Guide enables the Group Leader with questions that correspond to each chapter.

I firmly believe in Eph. 4:12 and I believe that was a big part of my heart in writing this book. I'd love to equip believers - enabling THEM to minister to THEIR circle of influence. What if there were more people getting saved in living rooms and at water coolers than in our altar times at church? Wouldn't that be awesome!!! This book is aimed at inspiring and challenging believers to become disciples - disciples who carry the presence of Jesus and who are passionate about sharing the person of Jesus.
