Rise Up In Faith

Rise up in faith, church! It’s time that people see Jesus in you. It’s time you no longer depend on your pastor to be the one to reach your colleagues or employees. Eph 4:9–12 tells us that pastors and teachers exist to equip you to do the work of the ministry! Christian, pray about what this means for you, at your work. The beauty of the Gospel is that the Holy Spirit is our Teacher (JN 14-16) and He can teach you exactly what to do and how to reach them right there in the market place! If you’re a Christian businessman, founder, or branch manager, realize that your calling is no less than the calling of the pastor at your church. It’s not less, it’s simply different. We saw that in the parables of the Vineyard and the Shrewd Manager. Stop comparing your calling to others and start asking God “How can You use me in my company to show people Jesus?” Trust me. You pray that prayer and He’ll begin to open doors for you, and we’ll see the book of Acts come to life where “many were added to the church daily.”

“Be strong and courageous for you will go with these people into the land I have promised to their fathers and you will take possession of it! It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you! He will not leave you or forsake you! Do not worry or be afraid!”—Deut. 31:7–8 

It’s time to let your faith rise up! What is faith? Hebrews 11:1 “Faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen!”  I want my faith to join your faith that you will see co-workers come to Jesus by the end of the month! Let’s pray that together! Let’s ask the Holy Spirit to give us courage to share our faith in Jesus and even give us the perfect Gospel story or parable to use with each person. God can do amazing things if we’ll simply be open to it and invite Him to do so!
